As a child The New World aka The United States meant everything to me. I loved it and it is were I was born. Now, knowing what I know about my Ancestors and how 12 million African were brought to the New World over 400 years along with my own history with this government had soured me. However, I had to learn to forgive what has been done and the current injustices African Americans face. This country has never truly reckoned with its racist past against African Americans,yet we must forgive, and we must move forward. We must come out of Oppression. We must GROW!
